The exhibition “1001 Plateaux: Sharing Collections - Sharing Connections” seeks to establish a dialogue between original artworks from the collections of the National Bank of Belgium and the interpretation thereof by 155 NBB staff members, under the guidance of artist Françoise Schein.
The selected works were drawn from both the historical collection of the Bank’s museum and from its contemporary art collection. The temporary exhibition “1001 Plateaux” was curated by Carine Fol, the NBB’s external contemporary art consultant, and is on display in the Bank’s imposing counter hall (3 Boulevard de Berlaimont, 1000 Brussels). Room after room, this participatory artwork unfolds in the form of a monumental blue-and-white mosaic.
Free entry, reservation not required.
